Anthony Hale

I am a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University with a degree in Digital Media and Design, focusing on Interactive Design. I live in Akron, Ohio. 

My education has enabled me to develop the technical skills and creative vision necessary for a dynamic career in graphic design. Coursework in communications, fine arts, and computer science has provided a strong foundation. I have learned how to create compelling visuals, write targeted messages, and enhance web and media usability through photography, videography, programming, and graphic design. My real-world-focused education has provided diverse hands-on learning and portfolio-building opportunities that showcase my work.

I currently work at Gannett as a Creative Consultant. Where I help create ads for digital and multiple print publications. Gannett is in a fast-paced and very deadline-centered industry, and that has allowed me to grow in those areas.

I gained valuable experience  at Epiphany Management Group and worked directly with the senior graphic designer, working on projects such as flyers, graduation items, and dance posters for
K-12 schools.

I can code using languages such as C#, C++, JavaScript, Css, and Bootstrap. I am familiar with common programs in the Adobe Creative Cloud library,  Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

I understand the fundamentals of drawing, using charcoal, learning about perspective (double and single point),  and figure drawing.  

I have a basic understanding of 3d modeling using AutoDesk’s Maya.  I am able to create virtual 3D worlds by creating 3D objects, navigating space, lighting, camera techniques, ray trace rendering, and animation.
