Wow is the one to aim for.’

About

Hi, I’m Anthony Hale, a graphic designer and creative professional based in Northeast Ohio. I’ve built my career around turning ideas into thoughtful, polished, and production-ready designs, with experience spanning digital and print advertising, branding, signage, wide-format graphics, and creative production.

My background has given me a unique perspective on design because I’ve had the opportunity to work through nearly every stage of the creative process. From developing layouts and refining brand assets to preparing files for large-format production and physically fabricating finished signage, I understand that good design isn’t just about how something looks—it also has to work in the real world. I enjoy solving those practical challenges and finding creative solutions that balance a client’s vision, production requirements, and the audience’s needs.

Before moving into the sign industry, I spent several years with Gannett and the USA TODAY Network, where I worked across layout, creative consulting, and digital campaign management. That experience taught me how to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, communicate with different teams and clients, and stay focused on the details that make a project successful. Today, as a Lead Designer at FASTSIGNS, I get to combine that creative and production experience every day.

Outside of design, I’m a pretty big Cleveland sports fan and enjoy following the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers. I’m also a huge animal person and love spending time with my family. When I’m not behind a computer or working on a project, you can usually find me outdoors—especially hiking and exploring the parks and trails around Northeast Ohio.

For me, design is about more than creating something that looks good. It’s about understanding the problem, finding the right solution, and creating something that people can actually connect with. That’s what keeps me excited about design and always looking for the next project to take on.
